Founder Kristin Burich

Founder Kristin Burich is one of three I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapy Instructors in the Midwest teaching others how to use open and closed systems and offering colonics since January 2002. Her vision for the center began to grow as she witnessed the positive effects that cleansing and supporting the body have on gut health and maintaining optimal well-being. As she continued her education and training in integrative care and energy medicine, she began to add other therapies and modalities. Kristin came to realize that working collectively with other therapists provided more education and holistic care for her clients.  In December 2006, the Center opened its doors at its current location. Sixteen years later, Kristin is a highly gifted energy healer, colon hydrotherapist, and holistic healing practitioner. She also curates the highest impact products and supplements available in-store and on her online store

Kristin is also known as an advanced energy healing practitioner, working in-person and at a distance with clients worldwide and offering energetic work alongside her signature in-person services including colonic, ear candling and endermologie.  Passionate about vibrational medicine, she also leads sound healing events and private event gong baths at the center.

Kristin is a National Board Certified Colon Hydrotherapist after receiving her training with Cathy Shea and The International School of Colon Hydrotherapy. Soon after she earned instructor status with I-ACT and began teaching practitioners how to use open and closed colon hydrotherapy systems. She has certifications in Fascia Release and Lymphatic Release Therapy, earning her certification in Endermologie in 2014. Kristin graduated from Jamestown College with a Computer Science degree with minors in chemistry, biology, and math. She worked as a computer programmer at Unisys Corporation for 6 years before becoming a dedicated stay-at-home mother to her three children for 11 years.

Jade Wilson

In 2016, I first came across Colon Hydrotherapy when I was searching for a way to heal my body from candida overgrowth. Not only did colonics help to clear up the rashes I had from candida, but they unexpectedly helped me with my allergies, dry skin, and digestive problems. At that point, I knew I wanted to help everyone achieve the same benefits from colonics so I trained at Healing Within Wellness Center with Kristin Burich and received my Colon Hydrotherapy Certification. I’ve continued training and learning other modalities and enjoy seeing my client’s progress.

I’m also an artist. I love to create artwork and offer for sale my drawings and paintings. I am friendly, kind, patient, and very passionate about what I do as an artist and a healer. I am excited to learn more natural ways of healing, to grow spiritually, mentally, and physically, and to continue my journey to wellness and help others do the same.

Melissa Hazelton

Melissa is an I-Act nationally board certified colon hydrotherapist, certified in The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, Intuitive Healing Practitioner and Breast Explant Support Coach. After a lifetime of chronic pain and numerous diagnoses, she came across a group of women who had regained their health after having their breast implants removed. She went forward with an En Bloc Capsulectomy explant surgery while ill from toxins leaking inside her body. Post-surgery she contracted a MRSA infection and during one of her many hospital stays she caught Covid. For eight months she was unable to eat solid food, had debilitating pain and used a walker for assistance. She was having anaphylactic reactions caused by mast cell activation, which is prevalent with long-haul Covid and systemic inflammation.

Her long recovery was also caused by her compromised immune system due to Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) from long-term use of antibiotics prescribed by doctors that destroyed her gut. Wanting to get off the 20+ medications per day she’d been taking and feeling unheard by the doctors and specialists that had tried and failed to help her, she turned to Healing Within Wellness Center for support. After only eight months of various detoxifying services, supplements and energy healing support, she is now healthy, happy, pain-free and off all of her medications after consulting her doctor.

She’s grateful for the knowledge she’s obtained throughout her search for recovery and feels humbled to be able to apply it to help others. Today she’s a resource for information on breast implant illness, proper explant surgery protocols, and post-explant surgery detoxification. She’s passionate about holistic therapies, psychology, herbalism and art.

Steve Biessener

Steve’s passion for learning about the energy body and applying practices to help people bring balance back into their lives started in 2009 when he began to learn about alternative healing modalities.  Steve is a Certified Body Code and Emotion Code Practitioner.  With an engineering background, he was drawn to the complexities of the body and wanted to understand its energy field and the whole-body system in order to address a wide spectrum of imbalances. This modality stood out from others and he became a certified Emotion Code and Body Code Practitioner in June 2015.

This practice is a form of energy work, developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, intended to identify and correct imbalances that cause a variety of physical and emotional issues for people.  The Emotion Code brings balance to the energy body, releases trapped emotional energies, and corrects blocked chakras and meridians. The Body Code addresses underlying conditions causing physical “dis-ease” such as pathogens, toxins, nutritional deficiencies and structural imbalances.  By removing these imbalances, it makes conditions right for the body to heal itself. This modality is also effective for animals.

Steve is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BS in Engineering and the University of St. Thomas with an MBA. Read more reviews about Emotion Code here.

Kristine Siltberg, R.N.

I’m a Registered Nurse who received a Bachelor’s Degree at Viterbo University and trained at Healing Within Wellness Center with Kristin Burich to become a Colon Hydrotherapist in February 2019. Although I’ve been in the medical field, I was taught about Mind, Body, Spirit in nursing school and consequently worked with a naturopathic doctor for the past 20+ years to continually support my wellbeing. It brings me great joy to work with my colonic clients and witnessing their healing progress.

Some of my professional experiences include hospital nursing in the medical/surgical unit, ER, labor and delivery, maternity ward, Coumadin Clinic, in-home and nursing home care, and briefly as a county Birth to three nurses. I was one of the first team members to bring SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) to our county where I was on-call as a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) nurse.

I have been married for 30 years and raised three sons. We live in rural Wisconsin on a dairy farm where we’ve worked together to increase our herd and make many improvements. I am very involved on the farm with tasks ranging from bookwork, fieldwork, lawn care and daily duties. We also raise beef cattle, which makes springtime exciting with all the new babies. In my spare time, I enjoy riding my horse or motorcycle, quilting and spending time with my family, which includes Shimmer and Laci, our very spoiled boxers.

Lauren Flach

After struggling for years with increasing back pain, fatigue, and moodiness, my search for wellness led me to energy healing and Emotion and Body Code. Learning that I could release trapped emotions on my own and feel my back pain disappear set me on a journey to determine how to continue helping myself and my family. In addition to earning a psychology degree and working for 15 years as a mental health practitioner, I decided to become certified in Emotion Code and Body Code. These tools combined with intuitive energy healing allow me to provide clients with a healing session that addresses needs in all areas of life—emotional, mental, and physical. We work to identify the root cause of imbalances and release blocks to healing so our bodies can heal and thrive as they are meant to do. I provide healing sessions for the entire family: adults, children, and animals! My distance healing sessions allow for healing without any of your time set aside. We live in an amazing time where healing can be convenient, thorough, and person-centered, and I am thrilled to be supporting wellness in this space.

Jeannette Henry

I studied Traditional Naturopathy in the interest of advancing health, and by the most natural way. It is the simple and elegant way to selfheal as nature intended it, and by design. Life journey led me to seek self healing as well as that of the family.  I became passionate to share the growing education and research information in alternative and integrative medicine and therapies.

As a holistic practitioner I focus on looking at each person uniquely and identify their conditions more quickly. Using the whole-person approach involves The Five Levels of Healing: The Physical Body (Biochemistry), Energy (Biofield body), Mental (Emotions), Intuitive (Belief System) and Spiritual (Private and unique to the person).

This individualized and comprehensive health program guides the person to make educated decisions. Naturopathy seeks to empower clients to understand their Body's Natural Self-Healing Power so they can make appropriate lifestyle changes.  This also leads many people to see a naturopath for preventative care, even if they are not sick.

With a growing interest in holistic, alternative and natural remedies, more and more popular and non-invasive therapies are being available to enable the body to self-heal such as yoga, meditation, massage, exercise, diets, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and acupressure..

Naturopathy typically helps clients with migraines, Anxiety and depression, Asthma, Thyroid issue, and Chronic Illness.

I use different modalities of therapies for the different levels and needs of healing. Ex. CranioSacral therapy as one of the way to help the body come into balance, and to start its healing process, PhotoBiomodulation through the Photon-Wave, to facilitate the body to self detox, reduce inflammation, and to help in the process of healing.

My holistic specialities include: Traditional Naturopathy, Wellness Education and Coaching to Self Heal, Diet and Herbal Medicine, Detoxing Program, Integrative and Functional Health, Energy Medicine, PhotoBiomodulation, ART (Autonomic Response Technique) Testing, and CranioSacral Therapy
